What people are saying
I have traveled throughout the world studying the thoughts, actions and habits of those who create true passion, power, and incredible energy in every area of life. If it affected awareness, potential, passion and increased the power of mental, and physcial energy, I wanted to know understand and study why it did and and find out how it did.
If you are a concerned, Parent, Relative, Teacher or a Coach and you know someone who is having difficulty in school or in life after school, then this book is a must read.
That is why I finally broke my silence and wrote Prisoners of our Own Beliefs to provide a fresh approach that will awaken your true desires and will open you up to a whole new way of living and thinking through a blend of cutting-edge questions and timeless universal truths.
Here's a fraction of what you'll learn:
...and that's just the start of it. Are you ready to be truly aware of who's around you and what effect they are having on your life and your decision making ability? Then let me be your guide on the path to your new freedom.
How do I know that I can accomplish all of this, because I was one of those students and I am one of those adults.
My name is Gary Parent and when I went to school no one knew or understood what dyslexia was when you didn't get what the teachers were teaching, no time was spent onthose children that didn't get or couldn't keep up. Everyday I would just keep drifting futher and futher behind. After awhile everyone figured out that I didn't fit and I didn't belong, It didn't take to long for me to drift into that deep dark place in the back of my mind where you hide all of the things you are ashamed of and are afraid to talk about becuase you might look as stupid as you feel.
Well the good news is I graduated from high school after only fifteen years of schooling in a twelve year system still not knowing how to read or write.
That learning to read and write wouldn't begin for me until I was 49 years old. Over the next six years of learning to read and write I wrote my first book called Prisoners of Our Own Beliefs.
It is an accomplishment I am very proud of and it is written from the prospective of someone who gets what it feels like to not get it, to not fit in, and to not belong and it flows right on through from school to your relationshis to the work place.
If this is your life or the life of someone you know and there are no safe places for you or them to rest or hide. You know what it feels like to have your whole life fliped upside down.
This book was written specificly for you by someone who gets it, lives it, and was imprisoned by it for far to many years.
